Timeless Being was born out of a deeply transformational journey, written by Shivali over the course of many years while living in Monte Sahaja. Drawing inspiration from great Sages such as Christ, Papaji, Rumi, and her Master Moojibaba, these songs are pure praise, prayer, and recognition of God.
This album was recorded with the collaboration of various sangha musicians who have played alongside Shivali throughout the years. Brahmdev accompanies on violin, Lluis on cello, Gotama on piano, with additional guitar from Omraj and Krishna Prasad. The album was mixed by Sadhu Om, who spent many a late night together with Shivali in the Strawbale Hut recording studio in Monte Sahaja.
Shivali has lived and worked in Monte Sahaja since the very beginning. Naturally drawn to working on the land, she became one of the first ones to lead what would become the landcare team. Over the years she has worked closely with Moojibaba, caring for the many trees, plants, and gardens of Sahaja.
It was during these early days that Shivali wrote her first album, Temple of Fire (2015). With no previous experience in songwriting, she found herself writing these songs directly from the inspiration of being in satsang with Moojibaba. It is this same inspiration that brought forth Timeless Being.
May this music inspire and support each one on their path back to the source.
“This is the game of life.
You are the timeless
experiencing the play of time.
What a paradox that time is needed
to discover the timeless.”
~Mooji
