A Hunter’s Question: What Is Obscuring the Self?

In this Satsang from the October Guest Stay at Monte Sahaja, a participant comes forward with a prayer to remove whatever is blocking the Self. Moojibaba responds with an introspection that exposes the false belief that the Self can be covered.

“What is obscuring the Self? Your question is very good. It’s a hunter’s question.
Does the Self say, ‘I am covered’?
You are aware that something appears to be covering the Self. Can you see the Self? Can you know that it is behind something?
The Self cannot be seen because it’s not an object of attention.
The Self, the pure Reality, is formless.
It’s here— even more real than the person could ever be.
Let me tell you something: you are so one hundred percent Self.”
