“Truly, I Am Neither a Perceiver nor an Object of Perception”

A close student brings forward a quote that has challenged him in a deep way, from the Avadhuta Gita: ‘Truly, I’m neither perceiver nor object of perception.‘

The Master exposes the remaining sense of the personal self that is reflecting on this pointing, revealing the untouched, impersonal space of pure perceiving.

“I’m not asking you to believe, I’m asking you to look,
and not at an object of perception, but at the very looker.

That which is the cause of the action of perceiving,
that cannot be found.
The lips that say eureka will be absorbed in him.”
