You Have Found That Which Cannot Be Found

Moojibaba is asked to clarify one of his pointings, that rather than just trying to escape suffering, to find out who is the sufferer. Mooji leads us in this profound contemplation:

“A great beginning is to start with the sense of being — you know you exist. Instead of putting your attention on the traffic of thoughts and sensations, bring the attention to the sense of being.

When followed, we begin to experience some sense of peace and expansiveness, a silence… the noise of the mind is not there. That’s a very concentrated state, but I’m saying now, whatever you can perceive is not your final truth. So even the sense of being itself is observe-able. If your very being, which is closer than intimacy, is observe-able, that which observes it is where, and what?”
