In this satsang on Christmas Day, Moojibaba shared his universal message, calling us again through the power of the question ‘Who Am I?’ into the direct recognition of the Self, the Christ Consciousness in all.
“In the Bible, Jesus says, ‘Father, I long to be with you as it was before the beginning of the world.’
Initially we feel that it’s a kind of linear statement in the mind, like there is this thing before the world. But I heard it like it is to be Here.
The world comes in through the mind and is perceived through mind but the Lord, the Self, is prior. And even during and throughout it is still pure, it’s never impure.
I feel Jesus said that on behalf of us.
You may say that 2000 years ago, Jesus was a man, but Christ is the light in all.”
Sit and verify: what is that which perceives that everything is coming and going but it itself is not coming and going?
Whatever appears, comes and goes and it cannot be the fundamental Truth.
Everything that appears is not you.
What remains now?
Is it personal or impersonal?

“Am I that which is if I remove all the personal identification?”
Even if personal identification happens, that is also seen.
That witnessing capacity is always present.
The function of experiencing is also known in you.
What is it that sees even the act of seeing?

Is there a silence in the midst of sound? Silence must be a metaphor for the Self.
Birthless, deathless, uncreated, unborn, absolute perfection,
no words fit it.
What is it?
The Self. It’s in you too.
None can exist without it.

There is no ego bullet—as you wake up to the Truth, the untruth dissolves.
Whatever you can perceive through the mind or the senses must be something phenomenal.
That which is experiencing those things, must be prior to them.
You don’t have to try to kill the ego.
You wake up to who you are and the ego dissolves.

The core of who we are is inseparable from the Lord of the Universe.
Awaken to that which is here. This place, this time, this opportunity is for this. It’s perfectly aligned to a deep yearning and calling in you that is awakening.

“Thank you for this urge for freedom and fire within me.”
This urge is the most important. It knows where to take you. Trust it.

“I can hear this quote from Christ in my own Satsang: ‘Father, I long to be with you as it was before the beginning of the world.’"
Jesus said that on behalf of us.
You may say that 2000 years ago, Jesus was a man, but Christ is the light in all.

In essence, we are here before the appearing of the world.
By the force of habit, you think you can get to ultimate things through the mind. But before any search starts, you are here. And after the ending of all journeys, you are here.
