“Is There a Global ‘I’?”

Someone writes to ask, “Are we the same ‘I’?”

Mooji answers, “Yes, we can say this. I would refer to that as just consciousness.”

Moojiji points out that before you can ask “are we the same I?” we have to look into what the ‘we’ is referring to, or what the ‘me’ is referring to. Although the Self is universal, there is the play of individuality on the phenomenal level.

“Where is the same-ness in us? Most people don’t look for that. Something must have brought you to look for that.”
