Sri Ramana Maharshi (1879 – 1950)

Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, known as The Sage of Arunachala, is widely recognised as a unique sage of the 20th Century. His life was a perfect example of simplicity, purity, equality and equanimity, born from an unalterable experience of supreme peace and oneness. He was a rare, pure channel of Divine Grace, that purposely made itself available to all living beings twenty-four hours a day.
Papaji – Sri H.W.L. Poonja (1910 – 1997)

Papaji, as his loved ones call him, was born in the Punjab in 1910. He realized the Truth when he was 8 years old. This Realization infinitely blossomed in his early 30’s when he met his Guru, Sri Ramana Maharishi, the Sage of Arunachala. Thereafter, he shared this Beauty with his wise words, his look, his touch, and simply by the silent spiritual power that radiated from his Presence. Papaji is Mooji’s Guru.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj (1897 – 1981)

From his living room in the slums of Bombay, this self-realized master became famous for brilliant, aphoristic talks in which he taught an austere, minimalist Jnana Yoga based on his own experience. His earliest volume, “I Am That” is widely regarded as a modern classic by practitioners of applied Advaita.

Ayurvedic Clinic: Arya Vaidya Pharmacy

Mooji visited this Ayurvedic Centre in 2009, and speaks very highly of his experience there.

“A perfect introspective retreat… the best physical, mental and emotional attunement one could experience… being cared for by angels.”          ~ Mooji

This is not a beauty Spa, it is the real thing—the real deal. Here is Ayurveda as it is, in its pure expression in these modern times. The Doctors, Nurses and general staff are all highly trained and respected. They follow a path of healthcare, healing and well-being treatment that goes back thousands of years—a path where physical well-being and spirituality are in perfect harmony.

The centre is clean, orderly, humble and authentic in every way. The quality of treatment is unequalled in its care towards patients whatever their cultural, religious, or economic background. This is healthcare, whole-care, at its very best.

The temple, dedicated to Lord Dhanvanthari, the Lord of healing, is itself worth the visit. It is full of life-force and devotional love. We highly recommend AVP Ayurveda Center to those who value and appreciate health in its most authentic expression.

No cutting corners here…If you are considering joining the program, the centre prefers that you are prepared to spend at least three to five weeks on-site in order to obtain the highest benefit from the Panchakarma treatment.

Notable presence: Dr. Ravindra
